We have a wealth of experience in designing creative workshops. We’ll supply the inspiration, materials, tools and refreshments in a fun, relaxed environment. We can arrange a venue or come to you and likewise we can provide food or leave it to you if you’d prefer. Make up your own workshop skills day… we can arrange a day where you learn the processes you want and make a special product just for you – this could be for your own CPD, to learn a new process, for a birthday, a hen day or other special treat. It could be making a scarf, a pinny, a collage, a banner, screen print, or book. You can combine processes and incorporate your own ideas. Priced from just £65 pp including materials, tea and proper coffee, fruit and cake.
if in the ColourField workshop, there are only 4 spaces per class which makes it nice and intimate with plenty of time to talk and really understand the processes. If in your own venue, sessions can be up to 15, depending on the level of supervision required.
As an example:
I worked with Gwent Arts in Health and The Sanctuary Project in Newport, assisting the group in making collages and mono-prints, which represented their words and expressions, from many languages, which helps to develop artistic literacy as well as language and communication skills; their designs were printed onto textiles using my own natural handmade indigo and linseed ink and they were then further embellished and developed with embroidery.
One to one sessions are particularly helpful as an introduction or for more in depth, specialist techniques. Prices from £175 depending on the time, process and materials required.
